Course content
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic principles of psychology focused on doctor-patient relationships. Students learn basic communication skills and techniques to facilitate professional communication with patients. In the students learn about the basic methods of psychological diagnostics and selected psychological phenomena such as suicidality, aggression, stress and its consequences on mental and physical health, and the basics of crisis intervention.

Learning outcomes
To establish a favorable contact with the patient as an important part of therapy and the optimal care of patients.
Students will be able to evaluate the patient's history from the view of psychiatric knowledge based on psychiatric interview, provide evaluation of the disorder and suggest the therapeutic approach.
