Microscopic structure and development of the digestive, respiratory, skin and endocrine glands. Microscopic structure and development of the urinary, female and male reproductive systems. Microscopic structure and development of the CNS, PNS and sensory organs.

The second semester of Histology and Embryology focuses on the microscopic anatomy and embryology of organ systems.
Students understand the microscopic anatomy of organ systems as well as their embryonic development. This knowledge serves as a starting point for further study of pathological anatomy and clinical disciplines such as pediatrics, surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, etc. |
