| Learning outcomes |

Mastery of cardiology history taking, physical examination, diagnosis, treatment and prognostic evaluation of diseases of the cardiovascular system. Visits to specialized cardiology laboratories are also included.
Upon completion of the block, students should be able to independently examine a cardiology patient, determine a plan of examination, interpret the results of the examination, and determine the likely diagnosis and treatment course of action. |
