| Course content |
|
The program is aimed at the development of basic skills for the students to understand the psychological aspects of patients reaction to the illness and basic psychological care about the patient. It consists of lectures about defend mechanisms and reactions to the illness and of practice and workshops about the psychological leading of the patients.

The follow-up course aims to familiarize students with a basic overview of psychotherapy schools and their application in patient care. The psychological principles of psychosomatic medicine, patient-centered personality psychology, prevention and management of burnout syndrome, and defense mechanisms are also discussed. The aim of the subject is the students' ability to understand basic psychological principles and methods and their application in medical practice.
