Course content
During the block, teaching in the form of seminars on the main cardiology and pneumology topics is combined with bedside teaching with the presentation od pasthological findings and subsequent analysis of the patient, visits to specialized laboratories and teaching on a phantom are also included. During the final seminar, the level of acquired knowledge is verified.

Learning outcomes
The block consists of 3 weeks of cardiology a 1 week of pneumology. Mastering of cardiology and pneumology history taking, physical examination, diagnosis, treatment and prognostic evaluation of diseases of the cardiovascular and respiratory system. Visits to specialized cardiology and pneumology laboratories and teaching on a phantom are also included.
Upon completion of the block, students should be able to independently examine a cardiology a pneumology patient, determine a plan of examination, interpret the results of the examination, and determine the likely diagnosis and treatment course of action.
