Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the studio is to give students a basic overview of web design and its principles, rather than to train them as professional web designers or developers. Students will learn how to work with a brand's visual manual and acquire basic skills in composition, colour, typography, and image use in the context of the web. They will become familiar with the principles of UX/UI, responsive layout, and the basics of web theory (hosting, CMS, domains). Work will be done in Figma and the WordPress content management system. Based on the assignment, students will create a website design in Figma for a selected or original brand and implement it as a functional website in WordPress.
