Course content
Teaching is divided into lessons with theoretical and practical part. Each lesson focuses on one radio genre or a phenomenon related to it. From the definition of the report, its essence, composition, through the characteristics of direct reporting to a moderated journalistic block. In each lesson, there is room for general journalistic principles as to why they exist and what their pitfalls are. This will make it easier for students to understand the importance of these principles. The end of the lesson is intended for discussion with students on the topic. A special lesson will also focus on the definition of the public service medium, the private medium. In the next lesson, we will create a "podcast", which is very much related to moderating and conducting a journalistic interview, and we will also come across Fake news. Each lesson has its own title, such as "Message - the basis of everything", then, for example, a lesson about an interview with the title "Ask, but listen!"? . There are also lessons on radio art and the possibilities of sound, which can replace the image and the read text.

Learning outcomes
The aim is for the students to be able to make audios of different genres and footage in technically and mainly content mastered quality. In addition, students will get an overview of the Czech media environment, what has shaped it in the historical context, what is currently affecting it and what its future direction will be. They will understand how and why the media are divided and the means they work with and their main focus. They will practically test the difference between written texts, audio and audio-visual media, and learn to work with their voice in front of a microphone, conduct a radio interview, and record their own podcasts. They will learn to work with a basic editing audio program. They will develop basic rules of radio news, which students can use in other non-journalistic professions in which they need to interact with people.

Prerequisites
Students must have an excellent command of the Czech language and be clear about the difference between standard and colloquial Czech. The obvious is flawless voice speech without serious speech flaws. Students are well aware of the current cultural-political situation not only in the Czech Republic but also in the world. We expect more than the basic knowledge of history from students, with an emphasis on the important milestones of the 20th century, especially its second half. Computer literacy and a positive relationship to audio technology are also required.

Assessment methods and criteria

Students' assessment will be composed of two parts - practical, theoretical and mastery of compulsory literature. The total of the three marks will give the final assessment of students. Practical part Students must write journalistic tasks after each lesson, starting with writing and speaking a radio report, in the second lesson submitting a reflection essay, a column or a gloss, in the third lesson filming a report .Depending on the quality and commitment to the job they get points that will make an assessment of the practical part at the end of the semester. Students' commitment to creating the podcast in a team will be crucial. Theoretical At the end of the semester, students will take a knowledge test on discussed topics. Questions regarding recommended literature will also appear in the test.
