Course content
The subject deals with special pharmacology of cardiovascular, respiratory and gastrointestinal system, antiinfectives, hormones and anticancer drugs. It also deals with pharmacotherapy of specific groups of patients (children, elderly and pregnant), pharmacotherapy of urgent disorders and intoxications.

Learning outcomes
The student gets familiar with special pharmacology including principles of pharmacotherapy, drug adverse effects, important drug interactions and principles of pharmacotherapy in special age groups of patients.
After passing the course, the student should master the issues of special pharmacology, including the basic principles of effective pharmacotherapy, adverse effects of drugs, significant drug interactions and peculiarities of pharmacotherapy in specific age groups of patients. The student should be able to use the knowledge both in his studies of clinical subjects and in his medical profession.
