pohybovou aktivitou a wellbeingem českých adolescentů.
2017, 2019 a 2021.
dlouhodobým zapojením do organizovaného sportu či vysokou pohybovou aktivitou. Výsledky
práce mohou být využity pro podporu politiky aktivního trávení volného času a podporu pohybu u
adolescentů.

The past 5 years in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic have been a major challenge for
today's young generation, both psychologically and physically. This thesis focuses on the
relationship between physical activity and mental well-being of Czech adolescents. The research
was conducted by asking questions at 6 primary schools in the Olomouc region in three data
collections that took place in the autumn of 2017, 2019 and 2021. In these years, the respondents
were on average less than 11, 13 and 15 years old. An identical questionnaire was used for the
research, which was filled out under the same conditions in all years. In total, longitudinal data from
158 pupils were used. The results showed that the assessment of mental well-being of adolescents
decreases with age. Respondents who showed a high level of physical activity or participation in
organized sports achieved better results in all years on indicators of mental well-being compared
to their peers. When taking into account the length of participation in organized sports or the
number of years in which they were physically active, most indicators of mental well-being showed
positive associations with long-term participation in organized sports or high physical activity. The
results of the work can be used to support the policy of active spending of free time and the
promotion of movement among adolescents.
