V době rostoucí společenské akceptace různorodých sexuálních orientací a preferencí se práce snaží pochopit, jakými metodami a přístupy terapeuti tuto specifickou klientelu podporují.

This master's thesis focuses on the specification of the principles of working with BDSM+ clientele among therapists referring to themselves as kink-aware. In a time of increasing social acceptance of diverse sexual orientations and preferences, the thesis seeks to understand the methods and approaches therapists use to support this specific clientele. The thesis combines a theoretical overview with qualitative research to explore the practices, competencies and perceptions of the role of the kink-aware therapist. The results show that openness, empathy and an emphasis on a safe environment are key to effectively supporting clients. Therapists emphasise the importance of learning and self-reflection in the context of therapeutic work with BDSM+ clients. This paper contributes to the body of knowledge about the needs of the BDSM+ community in health care and highlights the importance of adapting therapeutic approaches to support this diversity.

Research Plan
