Bakalářská práce se věnuje stravovacím zvyklostem a také zkušenostmi a povědomí o dopingu mezi atlety v okrese Šumperk. Teoretická část práce se zabývá charakteristikou a dělením atletiky. Jsou popsány jednotlivé složky potravy, výživa obecně s doplněním o specifika sportovní výživy, pitný režim, doplňky stravy a také charakteristika a členění dopingu. Praktická část je založena na anketním šetření, které zahrnovalo 50 respondentů ve věku 18-30 let, převážně z atletických klubů TJ Šumperk a Atletika Zábřeh. Z celkového počtu se ankety účastnilo 54 % mužů a 46 % žen. Cílem práce bylo zmapovat aspekty atletické aktivity, stravovacích návyků, pitného režimu, užívání doplňků stravy a aspektů spojených s dopingem. Z výsledků vyplývá, že i když 54 % atletů věří, že jejich stravovací návyky jsou v souladu se zásadami správné výživy, v některých oblastech jejich stravování byly zjištěny nedostatky. Zejména v konzumaci zeleniny, pravidelnosti stravování a pitném režimu. Dále výsledky ukázali, že 76 % má atletů k dopingu negativní postoj a odmítá jej i v teoreticky neškodné formě. Zároveň však nemají vysokou úroveň znalostí o účincích zakázaných látek a metod.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the dietary habits and also on the experience and awareness of doping among athletes in the district of Sumperk. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the characteristics and division of athletics. The individual components of food, nutrition in general with the addition of specifics of sports nutrition, drinking regime, dietary supplements and also the characteristics and division of doping are described. The practical part is based on a questionnaire survey, which included 50 respondents aged 18-30 years, mostly from the athletic clubs TJ Sumperk and Atletika Zabreh. Of the total number, 54% of men and 46% of women participated in the survey. The aim of the study was to map aspects of athletic activity, dietary habits, drinking habits, use of dietary supplements and aspects related to doping. The results showed that although 54% of the athletes believed that their eating habits were in line with the principles of good nutrition, deficiencies were found in some areas of their diet. Particularly in vegetable consumption, regularity of eating and drinking. Furthermore, the results showed that 76% of the athletes have a negative attitude towards doping and reject it even in a theoretically harmless form. At the same time, they do not have a high level of knowledge about the effects of banned substances and methods.
