V závěrečné části pak určuji možné důvody, proč někteří vojáci nesplňují dané přezkoušení a dávám návrh do praxe formou modelového tréninku.

The main goal of this study is to evaluate physical preparation and fitness of professional soldiers serving in the 72nd Mechanized Battalion. The work is divided into two parts. In the first theoretical part, concepts such as physical fitness, training unit, movement skills and abilities are characterized. I also describe physical education and physical testing in the Army od the Czech Republic.
In the second part I evaluate their physical preparation and fitness based on a survey and the results of the annual testing. Then I compare the 72nd Mechanized Battalion with the 153rd Engineer Battalion using the results of the identical tests from the same year. In the final section, I determine possible reasons why some soldiers do not meet the required standards and design a practical solution in the form of a model training program. A total of 42 respondents from the ranks of the 72nd Mechanized Battalion were involved in the survey, which was a key condition for the relevance of the research. The research showed that the soldiers prepare themselves properly and diligently for their service and do not see physical preparation only as an obligation, but also as a hobby to which they dedicate their free time. Based on the results of the survey and the annual testing, I conclude that the level of physical fitness is very good.
