Humor je důležitým prvkem všech sociálních interakcí a často se objevuje v psychoterapeutickém procesu, ovšem jen zřídka kdy je humor psychoterapeuty používán záměrně a vědomě. Cílem této práce je prostřednictvím rozhovorů zjistit, do jaké míry používá humor ve své terapeutické práci skupina šesti psychoterapeutů. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na humor z pohledu psychologie, jeho definici, stěžejní výzkumy, věnuje se vymezení pojmu smyslu pro humor, popisuje druhy humoru a základní teorie humoru. Dále je zde popsán psychoterapeutický humor jeho přínosy, rizika a kontraindikace. Výzkumná část práce se věnuje tematické analýze rozhovorů s jednotlivými psychoterapeuty a intepretaci výsledků.

Humour is an important element of all social interactions and often appears in the psychotherapeutic process, but rarely is humour used intentionally and consciously by psychotherapists. The aim of this paper is to explore, through interviews, the extent to which a group of six psychotherapists use humour in their therapeutic work. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on humour from the perspective of psychology, its definition, the main researches, the definition of sense of humour, the types of humour and the basic theories of humour. It also describes psychotherapeutic humour its benefits, risks and contraindications. The research part of the thesis is devoted to the thematic analysis of interviews with individual psychotherapists and the interpretation of the results.
