Druhá část práce ověřuje a testuje stanovené hypotézy.
This master's thesis tries to answer the research question whether Hungary can be included in the category of hybrid regimes or not. The first part of the thesis clarifies the various approaches and concepts of the authors who dealt with the issue of hybrid regimes. This section defines three hypotheses concerning the electoral system, restrictions on the independence of the judiciary and restrictions on the independence of the media.
The second part of the thesis verifies and tests the established hypotheses. The chapter on the electoral system examines whether the electoral system is set up in a way that favors the Fidesz party and is intended to secure as many seats as possible. The chapters on the judiciary and the media analyze how their independence is being curtailed.
The thesis concludes that Hungary belongs to the group of hybrid regimes, because all established hypotheses were confirmed.
