Práce se zabývá horskou první pomocí se zaměřením na zásahy horské záchranné služby v oblasti vysokých Tater. Jednotlivé kapitoly teoretické části se věnují popisu a první pomoci nejčastějších nemocí a úrazů, které lze v horském prostředí předpokládat.
Praktická část se zaměřuje na zásahy horské záchranné služby v oblasti Vysokých Tater. Představuje počet a nejčastější důvody zásahů. Porovnává počty zásahů ve Vysokých Tatrách s celkovým počtem zásahů na Slovensku. A v neposlední řadě přináší konkrétní kazuistiky zásahů z oblasti Vysokých Tater.

This bachelor thesis is focused on first aid on the field of high mountain areas concentrating on derogations of Mountain rescue service located in High Tatras area. Each chapter of this thesis pays attention to description as well as first aid and treatment of most frequent illnesses and injuries, that might occur in high mountains areas.
A practical part focuses its attention speciffically to derogations of mountain rescue service in Hight Tatras mountains. This particular part represents individual numbers, such as quantity and most frequent reasons of derogation. It compares number of interventions in High Tatras to sumarized number of interventions in Slovakia. Also, it brings us specific casuistry of interventions of the area of High mountains.
