Motorické testy měly do jisté míry souvislost s plaveckými výkony. Skoky z místa, 20 m běh a Cooperův běh korelovaly s plaváním. Plavecké testy u celého souboru spolu navzájem souvisely a našli jsme u nich velmi silnou korelaci.

The thesis is focused on the influence of motor abilities on swimming skills. The research group consisted 34 swimmers (17 girls, 17 boys) with an average age of 11.5 ? 1.5 years. For each swimmer are recorded age, height, weight, BMI, gender and arm span. All obtained data were processed using mathematics-statistical methods (correlation analysis, Student´s t-test). The aim was to determine the relationship between motor tests (standing long jump, stamina, 20 m run, sit-up 30 s, shuttle run 4 x 10 m, Cooper test) and swimming performance (100 m position race, 100 m crawl, 25 m crawl, 25 m backstroke) Partial objectives were to find relationship between tests and compare results between boys and girls. Motor tests were to some extent related to swimming performance. Standing long jump, 20 m run a Cooper´s run correlated with swimming. Swimming tests in the whole group were interrelated and we found a very strong correlation. Significant differences between boy and girls are found only in the pull-up endurance where boys were better by 5.31 s (r=-2,653; p=0,012).
Motor tests, motor abilities, swimming, swimming skills, young swimmers, explosive power of the lower limbs
