Course objectives:
|
Students are familiar with history of antiquity Grece and Rome. Lessons are special focuse on political development of continental Greece and Italy. Very important of course is teaching about determination of processes and impacts in antiquity society, which have influence for human´s development. Part of the explanation is also the characteristics and analysis of important primary sources on the topics of lectures and notices of recommended literature.

Requirements on student
|
Attend entrance turitorial - 1 hour: acquainted with content and form study of subject.
Attendance at running tutorial: eight lectures about chapters from Antiquity history.
Consultations - two consultations at the begginig and during the semester at least - determination of procedure of individual studies and establish tasks. When student need, he can establish more consultations. Student can select form of consultation with lecturers - personal, by email, skype, facebook etc.
Control of study is solved by series of tasks, which student has to discharge between consultations.

4th Crisis and end of Roma republic (to 27 BC).
5th Origin of Roma Empire - Augustus and Julii-Claudius dynasty.
6th From Flavius dynasty to Hadrianus.
7th Marcus Aurelius, Markomany War and Severus dynasty.
8th Crisis of Roma Empire - dynasty of military emperors.
9th Diocletianus and tetrarchy.
10th Constantinus I., legalisation of Christianity and end of Westernroma Empire.
11th Realies of Roma Imperium I. (architecture and arts).
12 -13th Realies of Roma Imperium II (economic, communications, production and shop).
