Táto prehľadová bakalárska práca sa zaoberá charakteristikou a modernými trendami rádioterapie a liečby karcinómu pľúc. Práca najprv popisuje charakteristiku, etiológiu, symptómy a delenie karcinómu. V druhej kapitole sa venuje stratégiám liečby karcinómu pľúc. Najrozsiahlejšia časť bakalárskej práce sa venuje rádioterapii a jej moderným trendom. Posledná kapitola sa zaoberá screeningovým programom na skoré odhalenie karcinómu. Prezentované informácie boli dohľadané v odbornej literatúre a elektronických vedeckých článkoch.

This bachelor thesis deals with the characteristics and modern trends in radiotherapy and treatment of lung cancer. This thesis first describes the characteristics, etiology, symptoms and divisions of lung carcinoma. Second chapter discusses treatment strategies for lung cancer. The most extensive part of the bachelor thesis is devoted to radiotherapy and its modern trends. The last chapter is devoted to the screening program for early detection of carcinoma. All of the presented information was traced in the literature and electronic scientific articles.
