This research examines school leaders' pedagogical competencies, their impact on student performances and learning process achievements, and the development of an educational environment conducive to teaching and learning. This research applied a questionnaire survey with eighty-four participants. The participants are professional teachers, educators, and pedagogical team members at the primary school level in Pakistan, which belongs to urban and rural areas within the public and private schools' domain. The questionnaire findings indicate that effective school leaders possess a range of pedagogical competencies, including instructional leadership, curriculum development and implementation, team professional development, feasible learning and teaching environment, and skills development. This research provides recommendations for the role of school leaders in identifying the weak areas overcoming them, and enhancing the pedagogical competencies of school leaders, and it also explores the strategies to improve teaching practices and educational outcomes for learners at the primary school level in Pakistan.

The thesis on the topic of Pedagogical competencies in school leaders in Pakistan at the primary level is very interesting and dynamic in nature, in this thesis, the researcher will elaborate on the competencies required for school leaders and the whole educational setting for the purpose to describe the role of school leaders at primary level as a pedagogical leader. the mixed research design will use for data collection in this research, Pakistan is the 7th biggest country by population in the world, and that,s why it is very important to know the actual situation of educational settings in Pakistan. the researcher will try to find the implemented policies of the Government and the relevant authorities. to collect all the information and data to analyze the needs of the pedagogical team for the development of the competencies of school leaders to lead the team to achieve their set goals in available sources. it will happen by conducting the interviews with the headteachers, teachers, or subordinate staff, by collecting data from teaching staff/pedagogical team members at the primary level for better understanding at the ground level in Pakistan, by conducting the data collection activities by questionnaire, form filling, surveys, etc. specially designed questionnaires, interview forms, observing sessions with the participants, who will be voluntary. after collecting the required data, the process of analysis will be done, and a factual presentation will be prepared. the sample size for participants will be 60 to 80 (teachers, parents) for the questionnaire, and interview session with 5 to 10 headteachers/pedagogical teachers, who are working at the primary level in Pakistan, furthermore, all the data will be collected from 3 to 5 schools.
