Největší pobouření to vyvolalo u Anglie.
The aim of this thesis is to examine the English responses and reactions to the events during Bartholomew's Night, which took place in Paris on 24 August 1572. During this event, there was a mass murder of Huguenots across the Kingdom of France. News of the massacre spread quickly through Europe. The greatest outrage was in England. The English population reacted to the news with reactions ranging from shock to outrage. I have based my work on the reactions of theologian John Fox, playwright Chrisopher Marlowe, and diplomat Francis Walsingham. All three had different political and religious motives in their reactions to the massacre.

U Bartolomějské noci budu zkoumat dobové vnímání, důsledky masakru, hypotézy o strůjcích a pohledy soudobých a moderních historiků.
