Master thesis Europeanisation of the fight against terrorism: A Comparative Analysis of the Czech Republic, Germany and Austria focuses on mapping this divergent experience of terrorism, engagement with the EU agenda and comparing the implementation of EU legislation. By its nature, it offers a very close link between the field of EU policy and European law. The aim of the thesis is to define Europeanisation in the field of law, to enumerate the content of specific instruments applied at the EU level and to assess the extent to which Europeanisation of the fight against terrorism is taking place at the level of the three selected states. The work is based on European Union and national legislation.

Research Plan
The fight against terrorism is one of the European Union's priorities, which can be traced back to 70s of the last century. After 2004 the Czech Republic (as well as Germay and Austria) began to become increasingly involved in EU counter-terrorism activities. However, despite their similar geographical form, the experience of the Czech Republic, Germany and Austria in the fight aqainst terrorism differs. Therefore, the diploma thesis will focus on maping this different experience and its reflection at the level of policies and attitudes promoted in the EU. The thesis will be structured into three parts, which map the national experience with the fight against terrorism, cooperation at EU level and cooperation at international level. The diploma thesis will be conceived as a comparative analysis.
