Skóre negativních strategií zvládání stresu negativně koreluje s průměrným počtem odpracovaných hodin za týden a skóre pozitivních strategií zvládání stresu pozitivně koreluje s počtem odpracovaných hodin. Celkové skóre EI škály SEIS koreluje s věkem. Přičemž výsledky je signifikantní na hladině významnosti 0,05.

The aim of this work is to find out whether there are differences in overall EI and used stress management strategies between university students only studying and students with a job or a part-time job in the Czech Republic. The data was obtained by a questionnaire consisting of 3 parts. The first of them contained questions about demographic characteristics (age, gender, highest education), questions about the type of study, employment status, average number of hours worked per week. The second was formed by the SVF78 questionnaire and the third by the SEIS questionnaire. A total of 153 respondents filled out the questionnaire. 54 of them said they were only studying, 70 had a part-time job while studying, 11 were working part-time and 18 had a permanent job. The results of the work show a correlation between the total EI score and the average number of hours worked per week. The total EI score of the SEIS scale is positively correlated with the positive stress coping strategies score and negatively correlated with the negative stress coping strategies score. The negative stress coping strategies score is negatively correlated with the average number of hours worked per week, and the positive stress coping strategies score is positively correlated with the number of hours worked. The SEIS total EI score correlates with age, with the results being significant at the 0.05 significance level.
