Do klasifikace narušení plynulosti byly zařazeny nevyplněné pauzy, vyplněné pauzy, nedokončené věty, repetice a opravy.

This thesis deals with disfluencies in simultaneous interpreting from English to Czech. The theoretical part introduces the process of simultaneous interpreting, psycholinguistic approach applied for investigation of certain interpreting phenomena, and interpreting strategies. The definition of disfluencies is presented, followed by introduction of different approaches to evaluation of their presence in speech and different classifications of disfluencies. The aim of the experiment introduced in the practical part is to identify the most frequent types of disfluencies in the simultaneously interpreted speeches of eight students of English for Translation and Community Interpreting. The category of disfluencies include: unfilled pauses, filled pauses, unfinished sentences, repetitions and corrections. It is presumed that there will be less disfluencies in the speeches of the Master's degree students in comparison to the students of the Bachelor's degree.
