Handball is the most risky sport for women regarding the knee injury. Injuries to the knee joint may also be caused by unbalanced muscle activation that affects neuromuscular control and stabilization of the joint. This thesis was aimed at evaluation of the muscle activity of m. gastrocnemius medialis, m. semitendimosus and m. biceps femoris on the dominant leg by surface EMG. The test group consisted of female handball players from the Olomouc sport club DHK Zora aged from 13 to 15 years. All test subjects were females. The results showed statistically insignificant differences in muscle activity between the two categories and between end and beginning of the season. Significant, on the other hand, is the higher mean amplitude value for m. biceps femoris in the U 13 category at the beginning of the season, i.e. greater rate of muscle activity of m. biceps femoris at the beginning of the season compared to the end of the season.

Metodika:
Zhodnocení svalové aktivity pomocí parametrů mean frequency a mean amplitude prostřednictvím poly-EMG v průběhu soutěžní sezóny.
Časový harmonogram:
září prosinec 2017 - vyhledání odborné literatury k tématu, sběr naměřených dat; prosinec 2017 leden 2018 - zpracování teoretické části; únor březen 2018 - zpracování praktické části; duben - grafické a formální úpravy a odevzdání práce
