This is focused on fundamental aspects of the reaction kinetics study focused on solid phase.

Content
|
1. Introduction to the solid phase reactions. 2. Crystallisation-nucleation and crystal growth, diffusion. 3. Crystallisation of melts. Modification changes. Thermal decomposition of solids. 4. Reaction of solids with liquids, gases, reactions of two solid substances. 5. Kinetics of heterogeneous catalytic reactions, enzyme catalysis, heterogeneous non-catalytic reactions, physical processes limiting the kinetics of technological processes-diffusion, adsorption, new phase production. 6. Corrosion, types of corrosion. Corrosion processes, thermodynamics and kinetics of corrosion processes, corrosion cells. 7. Methods for study of the kinetics and reaction mechanisms of solid phase reactions.
