Course objectives:

The course allows you to gain knowledge and skills for the use of information systems in the public administration, land cadastre, and urban planning.

Requirements on student
|
Student has to prove the knowledge of the subject topics. Elaboration of individual exercises, solving individual practical task.

Content
|
The content of the course is to acquaint students with the complete problems of individual information systems on the territory of the Czech public administration. Emphasis is placed on the geoinformation aspects of the land register and spatial planning and the specific tasks solved in public administration practice. Exercises are complemented with theoretical introduction and practical demonstrations led by the teacher.

1. Public administration (division, institutions, organizations, agendas, e-government)
2. Territorial information systems (overview of existing information systems of organizations and data)
3. Passports, DMVS, DTM, ÚKM
4. Land registry (historical development, CN CR, cadastral maps, ISKN, geometric plan)
5. Basic registers (RÚIAN, addresses)
6. Land consolidation
7. Land-use planning (authorities and tools of LO, LO, LO, data models, data sources, GIS and CAD in LO, portals of LO, SmartCity)
