Course content
|
Clinical examination of patient. Local anaesthesia in oral cavity and face (indication, contraindication, technique, complication). Tooth extraction and its complications, surgical extraction. Surgical endodontics, pericorontis. The treatment of patient with hemocoagulation disorders. Pathological cavities in orofacial area, orofacial inflammatory processes and inflammatory disease of the jaw bone.

Learning outcomes
|
Basics of oral surgery (tooth extraction, surgical endodontics, complicated eruption of wisdom teeth). Desinfection and sterilization in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Pathological cavities in the orofacial area, orofacial inflammatory processes and inflammatory disease of the jaw bone.
Examination of patient in oral and maxillofacial surgery, knowledge of indications and contraindications in basic surgery.

Knowledge of physiology, pathophysiology, head and neck anatomy, pharmacology and internal medicine.
