Course content
Deepening of theoretical knowledge and practice of basic procedures that fall within the competence of a practical nurse and improvement of procedures that fall within the competence of a doctor: preparation of sterile field, handling of sterile instruments, care of wounds (dressings, sutures, drains), catheterization of the urinary bladder (male, female), enema, care of stoma, O2 application, airway care (suction, inhalation, nebulization, etc.), care of the dead body, injections (sc, im), drug preparation (dilution), transfusion - assistance in administration, monitoring during and after transfusion, assistance in i.v. injections, collection of biological material, preparation and application of infusion.

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Observation, Demonstration, Training in job and motor Skils, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
Incorporate the student into the medical team, enable him to make maximum use of knowledge and skills in caring for patients in the real environment of the medical facility.To enable the student to apply and develop communication skills in practice not only in relation to patients, but also to members of the medical team.
After completing this course, the student will have knowledge and skills in the range of competencies of a practical nurse.

Successful passing subjects PLE/VAA81, PLE/VAB81, PLE/VABP1.
PLE/VAA81 and PLE/VAB81 and PLE/VABP1 and PVL/VAB71

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Didactic Test, Dialog, Systematic Observation of Student, Visitation

Successful completion of Didactic Tests, 100% participation in all seminars and practical exercises in the Teaching Laboratory, 100% participation in practical teaching in a Medical Facility.
