Course content
Introduction to urology, test, clinical examinaton, urological aids. Ultrasound in urology, uroradiology, urodynamics. Endoscopy, minimal invasive surgery. Surgical methods. Urology in children. Kidney diseases. Prostate gland. Urinary bladder, urethra. Scrotum, penis, testicle. Emergency cases. Urological traumatology.

Lecture, Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Demonstration, Projection (static, dynamic), Laboratory Work
Learning outcomes
Presentation of urology to students, description of fundamental diagnostics and treatment procedures, urological diseases and its treatment.
After the urology course the students will be able to: - evaluate clinical symptomatology of urological disease - perform basic physical examination of a patient - recommend further diagnostic methods including evaluation of necessary laboratory examinations - manage acute conditions (renal colic, urine retention, haematuria etc.)

Active knowledge gained during previous studies (anatomy, surgery, imaging methods).

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark, Oral exam, Written exam, Student performance, Analysis of Activities ( Technical works), Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary), Didactic Test

Clinical cases discussion during the course, daily presence of students at the department, ambulatory practice, operating theatres. Verification of preclinical and clinical knowledge of previous subjects (anatomy, pathology, pathophysiology, surgery, radiology, pharmacology). Test, oral examination.
