Course content
The student will have the opportunity to spend 150 teaching (45 minutes each) hours of training in a real medical facility under the supervision of medical professionals. During this clinical experience, he/she will apply the knowledge and skills acquired in the courses Basic Procedures in Healthcare 1 and Basic Procedures in Healthcare 2.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is: a) to include the student in the medical team, where s/he will be able to apply theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the real environment of the hospital facility, will get to know the system of work of the medical team and the patient medical record management; b) enable the student to perform basic nursing care and procedures, under the guidance and professional supervision of healthcare professionals in clinical practice; c) enable the student to apply appropriate forms of communication with the patient/client before, during and after procedure, with a focus on educating the client and supporting her/his activities in the healing process.
Students have a good grasp of safe and independent BPH in patients in a clinical setting.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio, Visitation

The student demonstrates fulfilment of the requirements for the award of credit by submitting documentation (Attendance Sheet and Performance List), which will be confirmed by the student's mentor. The mentor evaluates the student's activity, professional readiness, teamwork, and communication skills.
