| Course content |
|
General immunogenetics (5 hrs of lectures) on discipline characteristics and basic genetal theoretical topics including ethical and legal issues; Special immunogenetics (5 seminars) devoted to applications in relevant medical disciplines; Practicals (2 x 2 hrs) on important selected practical aspects. Translation of itemised detailed sylabus in Czech is underway.

Obtaining of basic knowledge in general and special immunogenetics. Following introductory lectures on theoretical aspects and methodical approaches, the course continue with indications and interpretation of results of immunogenetic examinations in relevant medical specialties with emphasis on transplantations of organs and hematopoietic stem cells, complex civilization disease, complications of surgical treatment). The course touch aspects of ethics and legislature.
Graduate will be able to evaluate contribution of immunogenetic factors to disease susceptibility / manifestation. Knowledge of methodology and analytical aspects is applicable in postgradual study and also in pregradual research practice. |

Student performance, Dialog
Participation in the seminars. In accordance with Directive of the dean of the faculty of medicine and dentistry LF-B-18/14, article 7. item 1, Department sets the following limit for absences: max. 2 teaching hours (14,3%) without apologies. Absence above the limit due to substantial causes must be justified by the main teacher with a proper substitution. With regard to the specialized character of the subject and its low hourly subsidy, we recommend completing the entire course. |
