Course content
Evidence in criminal proceedings, general principles. Particular means of evidence. Detention of persons and seizure of property in criminal proceedings. The custody. Preliminary proceedings I. Preliminary proceedings II. Preliminary hearing of indictment. The trial. Decison in criminal proceedings. Standard reliefs. Extraordinary reliefs. Specific forms of criminal proceedings.

Learning outcomes
The course Criminal Procedural Law 2 represents the second part of the course of criminal procedure law. During this course, students acquire knowledge of the part of criminal procedural legislation that relates to the actual course of criminal proceedings and its individual stages. After completing the course, students will be acquainted with the legislation contained in the Criminal Procedure Code and other related regulations (such as the Juvenile Justice Act or the Corporate Criminal Liabilty Act), as well as relevant doctrine and case law. The main attention will be focused on explanation of all essential elements related to the taking of evidence and decision-making in criminal proceedings, to seizuring means, the course of criminal proceedings and its individual stages, as well as the legal regulation of remedies in criminal proceedings.
Students who have completed this subject will gain knowledge of the process of criminal procedure, decisions in the criminal proceedings and the remedial measures.
Prerequisites
Completion of this subject is conditional upon completion of the subject Criminal Procedural Law 1.
