| Course content |
|
The subject deals with drug formulations, prescription, general pharmacology (pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics), pharmacology of vegetative nervous system and pharmacoogy of central nervous system (analgesics, anaesthetics, psychopharmacology and drugs used in neurology).

The student is to know drug nomenclature, principles of prescription and important drug formulations. He should be familiar with basic principles of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, types of drug adverse effects and interactions; from the special topics mainly the pharmacology of vegetative nervous system and central nervous system.
The student should be able to use the knowledge both in his studies of clinical subjects and in his medical profession. |

| Assessment methods and criteria |

Oral exam, Written exam
Attendance at all practicals, at least 50% of lectures, passing all control tests and achieve at least 70% points. Passing the final test. In the failure to meet these conditions, oral examination of the topics discussed in lectures and practical exercises. |
