Learning outcomes
in the Field of European and International Law II. The course Publication activity complements the complex of courses within the third pillar of the study programme, within its level focused on the development of the student's scientific skills. It focuses, like the courses bearing the name Scientific Activity, on the development of the student's ability to present the results of his/her scientific research. Unlike these courses, which focus primarily on the student's ability to present research results in oral form at a scientific conference, the course focuses on the development of the student's ability to present results in written form in the form of prestigious scientific papers. A secondary objective of the course is the enhancement of knowledge, since in-depth knowledge is a prerequisite for quality scientific work. The course is designed as a three-semester course and begins in the summer semester of the second year of study, when the student is expected to have already developed a certain level of professional skills and general abilities that will enable him/her to produce a high-quality scientific publication. The course is intended for students specializing in the field of European and International Law II. During each semester of the course, the student is required to select a suitable topic for a scientific paper in the field of private law through consultation with his/her lecturer, prepare it and consult it with his/her lecturer on an ongoing basis. After approval of the developed publication, the student is required to offer it for publication. In order to successfully complete the course, the publication must be accepted for publication by the publishing house. The choice of the publication output is agreed between the student and the lecturer, but the implementation of the course assumes that it will be a scientific article acceptable in the Register of Information on Science and Research (RIV).
The student's ability to present the results of his research in written form in the form of prestigious scientific publications.
