Course content
1) Contemporary challenges related to the law of the Internal Market of the EU 2) Relationship and influence of the rules of the free trade (economic freedom) and requirements of fundamental rights 3) European social policy and its influence on the functioning of the Internal Market, market-social model of the EU 4) Digital Single Market of the EU and related legal challenges

Learning outcomes
The course is focused on the advancement of knowledge of the functioning, challenges and trends related to the development of the Internal Market of the EU. Emphasis is put especially on the legal limits of the internal market, on the search for synergy between the market requirements and requirement of the rule of law. Within the course, the awareness of students about questions related to the law of internal market will be deepened as well (questions of social policy, EU social law, formation of the Digital Single Market etc.). Classes will have form of interactive lectures (analogy to the Oxford tutorials with small group of students) based on the structure: reading preparation - lecture - problem identification - discussion. The primary aim of the course is to deepen theoretical knowledge of rules, procedures and limits in the activities of the EU.

Completion of this course is conditional upon completion of Advanced EU Law I., II.
