Course content

Through practical tasks, the multimedia course introduces students to the connection between media and their possible synergy. Within the studio, the student will master: - More advanced work with media on the Internet - Interconnection of individual media components and their possible influence on the reception of the work - Thoughtful connection of text, sound, and image - Working with content in the multi-layered world of multimedia and its possibilities - Content and graphical linking of one project across different platforms

Learning outcomes

Through practical tasks, the multimedia creative workshop introduces students to the connection of media means of communication and their possible synergy. Within the studio, the student will master: - More advanced work with media on the Internet - Interconnection of individual media components and their possible influence on the reception of the work - Thoughtful connection of text, sound and image - Working with content in the multi-layered world of multimedia and its possibilities - Content and graphical linking of one project across different platforms
Upon completion of the module, the student will be able to: 1. Design a concept for a multimedia project, taking into account its theme, communication objective, target audience and implementation conditions, and justify the choice of media and platforms; create a clear information architecture that corresponds to the project?s content and the anticipated needs of the user. 2. Implement a functional multimedia project using appropriate digital tools, adapt individual media elements to the requirements of the chosen platform, and resolve common content-related, technical and communication issues arising during production. 3. Present and defend the final project, justify the relationship between the communication objective and the chosen solution, and reflect on the strengths, limitations and potential for further development of one?s own work.

Student performance, Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary), Final project
Students will design and implement a multimedia project, typically in the form of a website that incorporates text, images, sound, and audiovisual elements. The course covers information architecture design, working with digital content, user experience, and the principles of multimedia communication.
