Course content
Introduction to urology, test, clinical examinaton, urological aids. Ultrasound in urology, uroradiology, urodynamics. Endoscopy, minimal invasive surgery. Surgical methods. Urology in children. Kidney diseases. Prostate gland. Urinary bladder, urethra. Scrotum, penis, testicle. Emergency cases. Urological traumatology.

Learning outcomes
Presentation of urology for students, description of fundamental diagnostics and treatment procedures, urological diseases and its treatment.
Students should evaluate clinical symptomatology of urological diseases, make a basic physical examination of a patient; recommend further diagnostic methods including evaluation of necessary laboratory examinations; manage acute conditions (renal colic, urine retention, hematuria etc.).
Prerequisites
Active knowledge gained during previous studies (anatomy, surgery, oncology, imaging methods).
