Course content
Introduction to oral, maxillary and facial oncology. Benign tumors - diagnostic and therapy. Preblastomatosis - diagnostic, therapy. Malignant epithelial tumors (lip, tongue, sum of the oral cavity) - diagnostic, therapy. Malignant epithelial tumors (middle face space, facial skin) - diagnostic, therapy. Malignant mesenchymal tumors, hemoblastosis (leukemia). Pathological anatomy, clinic and therapy. Odontogenic tumors. Tumors of the salivary glands - diagnostic, therapy. Oncologic prevention an dispensarisation (follow up) in dentistry.

Learning outcomes
Introduction to oral, maxillary and facial oncology, benign tumors and preblastomatosis. Malignant epithelial tumors lips, tongue, scum of oral cavity, middle face space and facial skin. Malignant mesenchymal tumors, hemoblastosis (leukemia), odontogenic tumors, tumors of the salivary glands, oncologic prevention and dispensarisation (follow up).
Knowledge of dental instrumentations, technique of anaesthetic application, surgical suture technique. Extraction under the supervision of the teacher. Solving simple extraction and postextraction complications. Orientation in issue of orofacial area tumors.
Prerequisites
History, clinical examination of patient, knowledge of dental instrumentations, technique of anaesthetic application and extraction under the supervision of the teacher.

Systematic Observation of Student

100% take part in practical training, theoretical knowledge for examination, fulfillment of practical assumptions of semester (scores).
