Course content
Field sampling (surface water, preliminary field tests); Qualitative analysis of inorganic ions; Determination of acids; Determination of chlorides; Determination of soil reaction; Determination of water hardness; Determination of Ca and Mg; Determination of ionic surfactants; Proof and determination of pesticides; Determination of humus in sample of soil; Determination of organic compounds in water.

Learning outcomes
The aim is to acquire practical skills for analysis of components of living environment.
Apply and practice basic procedures in environmental chemistry, modify procedures for the basic analytical determination of samples in environment
Prerequisites
The knowledge of basics of analytical chemistry and instrumental methods of analytical chemistry is recommended.

For passing the subject student has to fulfill the condition of 100% attendance in the lectures, make all the requested analytical work in correct way and elaborate suitable laboratory protocols. Student has to pass the written final test ( 50% of total points) as well.
