Learning outcomes |
The aim of this course is to introduce to students basics of analytical chemistry, mainly in the view of environmental analysis, and basics of environmental chemistry, especially the sources, reactions, movements, effects and the fate of chemical compounds in water, soil and atmosphere, and how the environment is affected by humans.
To describe basic facts in analytical chemistry; to describe basics of the analytical methods for environmental analysis; to describe basic processes in environmental chemistry; to describe correlation between different parts of the environment, mainly in the view of chemistry |
Prerequisites |
The knowledge of basics of analytical chemistry and instrumental methods of analytical chemistry is recommended.
|
Assessment methods and criteria |
Oral exam, Written exam
A student should be able to present basic facts about taught themes. The examination is done by a test where minimally 60 % points should be correct followed by an oral colloquium on two optional themes. |
