The student is aware of the consequences of separating a child or other vulnerable client from their closest social environment. They can identify signs of disrupted emotional and social bonds, understand the potential strengthening and healing effects of play and other complementary activities, and have a basic knowledge and overview of these approaches. The student is conscious of the ethical aspects and implications of play-focused social work with clients and is able to reflect on them appropriately.
