The student is familiar with the issues, history, and current trends in playwork, understands its relevance in the context of the client?s needs and those of their close ones, and aligns it with the principles of family-centred care (FCC). They understand the importance of play in human life, are familiar with its typology, and know how it can be practically applied in helping professions ? especially in the field of social work. The student has command of the basic terminology and can assess the client?s material and social environment in terms of its play potential.
