Students will learn to understand the dynamics of health and illness, the dynamics of social inclusion and functioning versus exclusion, and the variability of their manifestations within the organic unity of human life. They will also learn to understand the specific characteristics of individual target groups in the context of life stories and the development of their socially disadvantaged situations. Students will learn to define clients? coping resources from physical (health, biological), psychological, social, and spiritual perspectives. They will also understand the dynamics of clients? difficulties and acquire appropriate terminology. Students will gain knowledge about the professional support available to individual clients or target groups (with regard to the disciplines covered) ? both on a general level and in the specific region.
