Learning outcomes
The aim of the course VCJ/ATEE2 is to develop language, communication and presentation skills. This course focuses on selected topics from the field of environmental ecology. It includes basic terminology and phraseology related to the topics and emphasizes presenting the topic to an audience (word choice and grammatical structures, stress, intonation, non-verbal communication, etc.) It develops language skills at the B2 level. Language skills are developed at the B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The VCJ/ATEE2 course does not build on ATEE1, so it can be completed even before VCJ/ATEE1.
Acquisition of specific terminology on the B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference.
Prerequisites
Students must have a minimum language level in English of level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). A very good knowledge of grammar is expected since grammar is not taught in the course. Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Written exam

Students are required to participate in an active way. They must prepare for the classes as required by their teachers, including completing home assignments. They must successfully pass the final exam which consists of a written test and oral examination in the form of a presentation, talk or a teaching activity on the approved topic related to ecology. A maximum of 2 absences from classes are allowed per semester.
