We will focus on the concept of art therapy today, its specification in relation to psychotherapy, artephyletics, art education, with methodological starting points and the application of art therapy approaches in special educational interventions. Within the course, the stages of the development of art therapy in a historical context, individual art therapy approaches, the role of expression, creativity and art in the art therapy process and, last but not least, the relationship between art therapist and client will be characterized.
