Course content
|
Teeth and alveolar bone injuries - classification, diagnostic, therapy. Fracture of the mandible - diagnostic, therapy. Fracture of the middle face floor - clinical, classification, diagnostic, therapy. The peculiarities of the mandibular and maxillary fracture treatment in children and the elderly. First aid for treatment of injuries to the head and face. War facial injuries.

Learning outcomes
|
Teeth injuries, fractures od mandible, fractures of the middle face floor (diagnostic, therapy), mandibular and maxillary fracture treatment in children and the elderly, first aid, war facial injuries.
Knowledge of dental instrumentations, technique of anaesthetic application, surgical suture technique. Extraction under the supervision of the teacher. Solving simple extraction and postextraction complications. Dental splint and circumdental wiring.

History, clinical examination of patient, knowledge of dental instrumentations, technique of anaesthetic application and extraction under the supervision of the teacher.
