Magnifying tools (magnifying glasses and surgical microscope) provides the view of the operative area, its perfect illumination and magnification. Therefore the working procedure will be more precise. It is very important especially in endodontics to have the perfect magnification and illumination of the working area aiming to detect the entrances of all of the root canals and prevent the omission of some root canals especially in the teeth with complicated anatomy.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Observation, Demonstration, Training in job and motor Skils
Learning outcomes
Introducing the students with magnifying technologies used in operative dentistry and endodontics, acquiring the basic knowledge and skills of examination and treatment in the indirect view of the working area.
Upon completion of the course the student should be acquainted with the current trends in the magnifying technologies used in operative dentistry and endodontics, as well as the basics of their practical use.
