Course content
Topics of lecturers: 1. Holiday (leave). 2. Obstacles to work. 3. Damages. 4. Competitive behavior of employee. 5. Employmnet of employees by employment agencies, transfer or termination of rights or obligations arising from Labour relations. 6. Collective Labour law, employment issues. 7. Civil service (emplyoment by public authority). Introduction. 8. Civil service employment - organizational issues of civil service, systematization and structure of public office. 9. Civil service employment - civil servant employment for an indefinite and for a fixed term. Conditions and professional cempetences necessary for appointment to civil service, assignment to a service post. 10. Changes in the civil service employment. 11. Termination of civil service employment. Seminary topics: 1. Holiday (leave) - lenght, calculation of concrete lenght, types of leave, reduction of leave). 2. Prevention in labour law relationships. Damages - employee´s liability for damages. 3. Damages - employer´s liability for damages. Industrial injury, occupational (industrial) disease. 4. Employment of employees by employment agencies. 5. Delivery of documents (service of documents). Competitive behavior of employees. 6. Civil service (introduction). 7. Civil serivce - commencement, changes, termination. 8. Service relationships of members of security forces, labour-law relations of officials of territorial self-governing units.

Learning outcomes
Course is focused on individual labour law relations (specifically obstacles to work, holiday (leave), damages, competitive behavior of employees, issues of agency employment, delivering, transfer of rights and obligations from labor law relations), as well as on collective labour law and employment issues. The course is also focused on the issues connected with the area of public administration (differentiation of individual working relationships during the performance of public administration, legal relations of state employees performing state administration in administrative offices, organizational matters of civil service, service relations of state employees, remuneration of state employees and proceedings in the area of civil service).
After passing this course, students will acquire knowledge of basic concepts and institutes of Labour Law, including orientation in Civil Service issues (in the field of public administration), all in relation to the knowledge and skills acquired in the course of Labour and Civil Service Relationships 1.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark

Written form of verification of study results by a theoretical-practically oriented test through which the theoretical knowledge and the ability of practical application of acquired knowledge of students of students are going to be verified. Furthermore, compulsory attendance at seminar lessons corresponding to the requirements arising from the internal regulations of UP. Final verification of knowledge in the form of oral exam.
