Course content
|
Structural structure of diploma thesis; 2. Design of research work in diploma thesis and research group; 3. Publication recommended practices; 4. Methods of access to research work; 5. Methods of data collection; 6. Methods of processing and interpreting data; 7. Chapter Discussion; 8. Text editing - text layout, numerical marking of parts of text, headings, paragraphs; lists of tables, pictures and attachments of the thesis; 9. Content of the diploma thesis and how to create it; 10. Introduction and Conclusion of the diploma thesis; 11. Completion of the thesis, annotation of the diploma thesis; front pages and cover page of the diploma thesis, binding and submitting the diploma thesis; 12. Preparation of defence of diploma thesis and defence of diploma thesis.

Learning outcomes
|
Within the subject of the Diploma Seminar 2 students work under the supervision of a teacher on the implementation phase of their diploma thesis. They learn: structurally and contextually build their work in line with the IMRAD methodology; to design the research design of my thesis, to incorporate the description of the methodology, the research file and the results into the structure of the diploma thesis. At the end, the students will get acquainted with the formal and graphic standardization of the diploma thesis. They will then explain the final stage of the thesis: submitting and opposing the diploma thesis, the defence of the diploma thesis.
Upon completion of the course the student will be able to write the research work of primary or secondary research. Understand the internal logic and context of the research work, he / she will be able to interpret the results of his thesis. He will be taught about the formal requirements of diploma thesis and possible variants.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Analysis of linguistic, Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary), Systematic Observation of Student, Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio
Demonstration of diploma thesis (DP), presentation and interpretation of DP results, draft discussion in DP - each student prepares a presentation (max. 20 slides), verification of students' knowledge.
