Course content
1. Crimes against life and health 2. Crimes against freedom, human dignity, against family and children 3. Generally dangerous crimes against public order 4. The concept of crime and its features 5. Crimes types, punishments and protective measures 6. Contemporary level of medicine and health care 7. Recognized medical procedures, provision of health services according to the rules of science 8. Conditions of legal liability of a physician or other health care professional 9. Misconduct of a physician or another health care professional (case reports) 10. Expert activities in the field of health care

Learning outcomes
In this subject, attention will be paid to legal propedeutics, to the conditions of eligibility to the profession and to disciplinary responsibility, crimes against life and health as well as freedom, human dignity, family and children will be highlighted
The student will acquire legal propedeutics, eligibility conditions for profession and other components of eligibility, lifelong learning and disciplinary responsibility, including the awareness of sanctions resulting from professional shortcomings. They will get acquainted with the concept and subject of criminal law in relation to their profession, the concept and features of the crime and the division of criminal offenses. Crimes against life and health, as well as crimes gainst freedom, human dignity (and sexual area), family and children are emphasized.
